Bias Ribbon Gown

Sheer red scattered with tiny velvet blossoms, this semi sheer fabric catches the light in a way that makes the little velvet flowers feel almost suspended on the surface.

All the different sections of the dress are cut on the bias for the most flattering body hugging fit. Black painterly floral yardage is artfully inserted around the hem creating fullness and kind of a kinetic movement whilst walking or dancing.

The ribbons are also cut on the bias, so that they fray just the right amount and stop before unravelling. They're meant to wrap, knot, or drift behind you depending on your mood. Something between a dance dress and a slip you weren’t supposed to leave the house in.
