Pintuck & PomPom Set

This two-piece set is constructed in a unique textile. Permanent press crinkled (plissé) cotton gauze, with a stripe-woven structure that resembles pointelle.

The blouse is built from rows of hand-set pintucks that release into a flared peplum, creating volume in the most flattering areas. Fastens with hidden snaps down the center front and may be worn tied at the back creating a peplum shape, or left loose.

Cap sleeves are cut in a lightweight ripstop and bound in self fabric, introducing a subtle technical contrast to the otherwise delicate construction.

The matching shorts are cut close with a low-profile elastic waistband. This material is naturally elastic without any synthetics, stretching and returning to the body without losing its form, noticed mainly in the shorts fit. Finished with antique cotton pom-pom trim along the leg and a small tassel detail at center front.
