Upholstery Cropped Tailcoat

I've been saving this small piece of french knotted antique upholstery fabric for years, waiting for other special fabrics and trims to come into my life. Incorporated into the front and back yoke.  Antique silk velvet upholstery fabric in a leg-o-mutton sleeve shape, lined with mauve floral quilting cotton yardage. Pleated tailcoat is a powdery pink moire. Scallop trim on the yoke hems and cuffs. Tiny pink beads around the center front bodice. Perfect sheen salmon tassel ties it closed.
